Four more Obama Campaign for Change offices open in Colorado

  • by: Jenn at Obama for America in Colorado

From the Colorado for Obama blog.

The campaign in Colorado is growing rapidly. Just last week another four Colorado Campaign for Change offices opened across the state. Over 900 people attended one of the events in Thornton, Fort Collins, Golden and Aurora.

Local politicians, staff, supporters and volunteers turned out in masses to show their excitement about the campaign and find out how to get involved.

In Fort Collins, so many people from Larimer and Weld counties showed up that the party poured out of the office and onto the sidewalk.

Aurora’s office opening was an incredibly diverse gathering, with people of all ages and backgrounds coming together to find out to help Barack win Arapahoe Country.

In Golden, supporters met with field organizers where they learned about the different volunteering opportunities that are going on in JeffCo.

Colorado State Director Ray Rivera spoke to the people of Adams County about the important role that Colorado will play in the election.

Here is a video of the office openings:

  1. So I wonder if these four offices are anything like the one in listed for Colorado Springs. The office there is an empty building with a coming soon sign. The “manned” Obama office in Colorado Springs is downtown up in a skyscraper and it’s quite small. I’ve been by twice and the door was locked both times.

Obama: the candidate with phantom ideas and phantom offices.
